We are currently, this September 2022, waiting on getting Irena’s British qualifications properly recognised in Germany.

So hopefully she’ll be offering her therapy help in our practice at some point within the next weeks as a fully recognised psychotherapist working under the HPG (Heilpraktikergesetz).

If you think Irena is going to be a good fit for you, we’d love to add you to her waiting list.

Let me allow Irena to introduce herself…

I am originally from Scotland (Dundee), and have both Scottish and Polish roots. I began my career in psychology and therapy in 2009, following a 12 year career in industry.

I am a psychologist at heart, and the foundation of my therapy training was in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), but with time and further training I have come to adopt a way of working that integrates a range therapies (including psychodynamic, relational and systemic) in response to the needs of my clients.

I am also trained in Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS, Level 2), with both individuals and with couples. With this approach we benefit from much deeper understanding around the challenges clients face.

I have worked extensively with anxieties, depression, anger and trauma, as well as long-term health conditions, and more recently, relationship issues.

I am a mother, a wife, a runner, a committed lifelong learner, and I love spending time outdoors.

I look forward to meeting you.
