Living well? What does that actually mean? Which barriers within us and outside of us make us suffer in this modern world? And how can psychotherapy help?
As a native of Munich, I am both very connected to my home and culture and I encounter the diversity of the world respectfully with an open and appreciative attitude. People of all cultures, all religions and all orientations are therefore very welcome to receive my support.
In my psychotherapeutic work, it is important to me to help people in difficult life situations to find new ways to deal with the psychological challenges that are affecting them at the moment. And the overriding goal is always achieving long-term contentment in order to „live well“.
For these goals, in addition to extensive training in behavioral therapy, I completed further training in various modern forms of therapy, such as Schema Therapy according to Jeffrey Young, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy according to Stephen Hayes as well as mindfulness and relaxation methods.
I use a structured and transparent approach. By looking together at the life you have already lived and how it formed you and by practicing new perspectives and behaviors in the sessions, I want to empower you to successfully master the often difficult challenges of life and thus overcome blockages. I aim both to understand and to help with solutions.
I offer psychotherapy in German and English. In order to continuously develop my psychotherapeutic work, I regularly take part in further training events and intervision groups. To achieve a health work-life balance I enjoy, among other things, traveling, board games and photography.
I would be happy to hear from you and discuss possibilities and answer questions in a short phone call before meeting with you in the practice for a first trial session. Just get in touch and we’ll take it from there.
